This new body of work captures the ethereal fluidity of the female form. Utilizing mixed media, charcoal, acrylic, oil, varnish and resin on plaster, canvas and board. Ruddy creates fresh images of the reclining female nude reminiscent of the old masters. These emotionally expressive works define our fascination with the female body through sensuous contours and rhythmical flowing lines which unfold so beautifully within the delicate textures of landscape.
