Honoring Craig Ruddy’s Vision: The Impact of the Craig Ruddy Scholarship
Three years after Craig Ruddy’s passing, his vision of connection, respect, and positive change continues to thrive. His iconic portrait Two Worlds—featuring the legendary David Gulpilil—celebrates the coexistence of cultures and the richness that diversity brings to our shared world.
Beyond his art, Craig was deeply committed to supporting First Nations communities. In 2022, the Craig Ruddy Scholarship was established to support Indigenous medical students in the Northern Territory, helping them become the bridge their communities need for better healthcare access.
Today, this scholarship is making a real impact. Meet Ebony Hill, one of our scholarship recipients, who shares how this support is helping her pursue her dream of becoming a doctor.
